1st Annual NCSSM Charity Golf Tournament

This event will take place RAIN OR SHINE at the The Crossings Golf Club in Durham, NC on March 24th, 2012. Deadline for entry is March 9, 2012.

The format for the tournament is a scramble, and for this first year of tournament play, participation is limited to eighteen 4-person teams. Participants will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 AM. After all teams have played 18 holes, results will be calculated and winners will be determined.

The cost is $70/individual or $280/team. In the spirit of the event and to raise additional money for NCSSM, participants will also be allowed to purchase mulligans ($10 buys two, one for the front 9 and one for the back 9) and throws ($5/each).

The contest is open to all members of the NCSSM community. We hope to have participants from NCSSM alumni, students, faculty and staff, spouses, and "friends" of the school.

Entries can be submitted for whole teams or for individuals. Individuals will be placed on teams in an effort to create a diverse and equitable event for everyone. Included in the cost are the greens fees for the course, a catered lunch, and a small gift for participating. All golfers are expected to provide their own golf clubs; however, the course may provide rented clubs for a nominal fee.

We encourage any and all non-players to come out and enjoy the event as a volunteer or fan!
